Dream Keeper Robin’s Prom

Robin is my current oldest project, as I just started posting chapter four on Tapas. So of course, I love to draw every character in as many outfits I can while writing chapter five.

B is for Blaze

Blaze, fire squire. She’s the one who changed the least from inception, and the one who made me love coloring reds.

Meet Fire Squire Blaze

Blaze is the leader of the Squires, the Royal Guard of Alnitak. She has been training since she was a child to control the element of fire, and to serve the Queen of Alnitak so she takes her mission very, very seriously

Dream Keeper Robin Circles

For the Patreon levels I did the Robin Characters in chibi form and in colorful circles, which later became a set of stickers. I realized I never shared them here, so it was high time to correct that. You can get the stickers at my store, and with me at events, and the full set is here, except for one more sticker that, for now, it’s kind of a spoiler.

Sugar Skull Blaze

Since I was a little girl, I’ve loved Sugar Skulls. I remember mom buying the biggest, most decorated one for our altar for Great Grandpa Manuel, and that it would last for DAYS if I took it later to school, even sharing it with my classmates. But I really didn’t like eating it as much as looking at it. The decorations always made me smile and wonder how they were made.

Two years ago, I made a series of some characters as sugar skulls. It was REALLY fun. But that was two years ago, and now I thought… why not give the Elemental Squires of Dream Keeper Robin a chance? So here we are with the first one, Blaze, the passionate squire of Fire.

Robin Princesses

I love drawing the Robin cast in pretty dresses and different hairdos. Even if they have little time to actually wear said dresses or hairdos in the story. Maybe one day I will actually add Gavin, Orion and Zander to the extra drawings.

Dream Keeper Robin Strip Style

I have to say, one of the things I love about working with Mandi Gordon, Dream Keeper Robin’s editor, is that she keeps challenging me to do better every time. One of her challenges was to try and change my style, not for the comic itself (That you can read at Tapas, updating every monday), but for illustrations.

So here they are, looking a lot more comic-strip than usual, for a nice exercise with color sharpies.

Dream Keeper Robin 3

Since the fight with Erin, the Earth Squire, was interrupted by a Mitakan Agent, Robin, Alex and Erin venture into a different dimension to fight the new enemy. Unfortunately, Robin still has not enough information, and Gavin and Zander are MIA. Still, Robin is not going to let anyone threaten Earth, even if he still can’t get his warmace out of the medallion, or get some answers from the Alnitak’ Squires.

Black and white Comic, 32 pages. English language. Soon for sale on the e-store, but for now you can get it at Conque 2018!

You can also follow it one page a week at:

Dream Keeper Robin Monochrome

For my daily drawings, I choose to do an exercise in monochrome ideas with the Robin Cast. I have to say, some were very rewarding, others made me see colors in a very different way. So here they are, Robin, the Elemental Squires and the mysterious Orion, for all to you to enjoy.

By the way, if you’re a Robin fan, stay tuned! I’ll be announcing soon the pre-sale of Dream Keeper Robin vol. 3!

Dream Keeper Robin Masquerade Ball

Last week, as part of my daily drawing challenge, I decided to do some portraits of the Dream Keeper Robin cast in a Masquerade Ball, to practice more their personalities. And after 10 days, here is the whole set:

Robin really enjoyed the first modeling session.
Zander looks great in his moon mask.
Alex is gorgeous in her sun mask
Gavin missed his beak when in human form, so he got a replacement.
Blaze looks fiery, as always.
Calani is a joy to draw every time.
Dew is always fun
Erin is always dreamy.
Orion doesn’t quite get the idea of a masquerade ball…
And Robin really didn’t enjoy the second modeling session, no.
